Original Assembly Kit

Part of the OAK collection, our Original Assembly Kit is the basis for the collection itself. Inspired by the old school kit of parts for self sufficiency, we challenged ourselves to us a limited number and size of parts to design a family of shelving and display. With this kit you can build any of the designs within the OAK collection, meaning you're actually purchasing at minimum 8 furniture pieces with this kit! 

You can also use this kit to expand existing Loose Parts assemblies you have. Or treat the Original Assembly Kit as an invitation to design something entirely your own. Less Rambo and more Moonrise Kingdom, we've designed a Swiss-army-knife approach to your interior needs. 

32 rails of varying lengths, 8 reversible tray shelves, 2 solid brass clothing rods and enough hardware to make one large assembly or two smaller ones.

Maple wood comes with white hardware. Black Oak comes with black hardware. If you would like to mix and match, include a message at checkout.

All our furniture is made to order. Please allow 6-8 weeks for fabrication.

Rails: Sustainably harvested North American hardwoods with a natural wax finish.

Panels: Powder coated steel.

Hardware: Steel metal fasteners.

Panels and rails can be wiped clean.
Avoid placing furniture in direct sunlight, excessive heat or humidity for sustained periods of time.

Our material choices are made with the goal of longevity and reuse in mind; better materials mean a longer life both of the product and natural resources of the environment.
